Parallels Desktop for Mac by Parallels, Inc., is software providing hardware virtualization for Macintosh computers with Intel processors.

64-Bit OS

Parallels Desktop and Parallels Workstation will run on a 64-bit operating system, however they will not support the installation of a 64-bit OS. Anyone looking to install an OS in Parallels will need to use a 32-bit OS.

Windows 7 Issues

If after installing Windows 7 the drivers do not show up you will need to install Parallels Tools. You can install Parallels Tools by running your Windows 7 Virtual Machine and then selecting Install Parallels Tools from the Virtual Machine menu in Parallels. You will need to restart Parallels once the tools have been installed.

If Windows 7 will not install try turning off the Virtual Floppy Drive
